My artistic mentor Ted Collier (tedcollierart.com) is a master of applying resin to canvas. He literally walked me through how to do it with this piece and it really took it to the next level. While the resin coating covers the entire canvas, it is just thin enough to allow for some of the dimensionality of the paint to show through upon closer inspection. I’m hoping to add this treatment to some other pieces - but need to find a place that can get a little messier than my finished basement. Stay tuned…..
